Disney in-jokes enhance the “The Princess & The Frog”

Jim Hill Media reveals several hidden treasure that the Walt Disney Animation Studios put in to encourage folks to go back and see “The Princess & the Frog.”

Did you know …

  • That – as the film’s title sequence is getting underway while Dr. John is singing “Down in New Orleans” – you can clearly see the carpet from “Aladdin” being shaken out by someone who’s standing on a wrought-iron balcony.
  • That – as Mama Odie is quickly digging through a pile of magical objects during “Dig a Little Deeper” – the lamp from “Aladdin” gets tossed to one side.
  • That – during this movie’s Mardi Gras sequence – one of the floats in that parade features a figurehead that is clearly modeled after King Triton from “The Little Mermaid.”

TRON LEGACY Guys To Remake THE BLACK HOLE

According to Hollywood Reporter, Tron Legacy director Joseph Kosinski and producer Sean Bailey are remaking this story about a research vessel that finds a missing ship, commanded by a mysterious scientist, on the edge of a black hole. Scribe Travis Beacham who penned the CLASH OF THE TITANS remake is in charge of the screenplay for the new BLACK HOLE.

No word yet if the plot will stay the same but they promise that Maximilian (the evil red robot) would return.
